Blogging without showing your face-Is it worth your efforts?

Blogging without showing your face-Is it worth it?

So you are thinking to start your blog, but you are confused about whether to use your face or not. It’s frustrating when you feel lost and doesn’t know how to approach blogging.

So, can you start a SUCCESSFUL blog without using your face?

Of course, you can. Many bloggers are earning a full-time income with their blogs without showing their face. So, if you want to blog anonymously, it’s better to start a niche site.

When you are deciding to create a blog, your main priority should be to create valuable content that will solve people’s problems.

If you want to remain anonymous, then maybe building a niche website will be a better option.

However, if you are creating a brand or a personal blog, you will need to have a profile picture so that people can trust you more. For a personal blog, trust is very important.

For a niche site, you can easily get away with being anonymous. But, one thing is crucial when you start your niche site. You must use the right blogging strategy to be able to generate income.

Logically, if you prefer to remain anonymous, then you cannot expect people to buy from your affiliate links or your products.

This completely makes sense, right?

Would you buy a product from someone you don’t know?

I guess no.

This is why if you use my blogging strategy, you will be able to make money even if you are not using any profile picture on your blog.

One important aspect of being anonymous is that you have the freedom to write what you like and you can be more transparent.

Having the freedom to express your thought will make your content better which can help you stand out from the crowd.

That being said, let’s see how you can start your blogging journey anonymously.

The best Strategy to start blogging without showing your face.

1. Select a profitable niche

As I have said above, if you want to blog anonymously, you will need to start a niche website.

Choosing a niche can be tough as you don’t know what niche will be better for you.

So a smart approach is to select a domain name that can accommodate a few niches.

For example, the name of this blog is Viableblog. I didn’t name it after anything that directly indicates that this blog is all about blogging.

So why I did this?

It’s simple. I didn’t know which niche will be better suited for me in the beginning. By choosing a broad domain name, I had the flexibility to write about a few topics and see which one Google preferred.

The thing with having a blog is: When you are creating content for a few broad topics, there will be usually 2 topics that will outperform all the other topics.

Once you know which 2 topics are performing really well, a smart way to continue blogging is to write everything that you can on those 2 topics.

Now that you have an idea about how topics on your blog will perform, it’s now time to choose a profitable blog niche.

What I mean by that is a niche that has a lot of monthly searches for its related search terms and has a large audience that is ready to buy products and services.

This is where you will get a lot of competition, but if you can get traffic from those niches, you will have a lot of opportunities to monetize your blog.

You can choose any using platform you want. The important thing here is to have at least your domain name in your email address.

For example, the email address for this blog is

Now you can also create an email address with your hosting. For instance, a preferred email address will be

3. Enable Domain Privacy for your domain

People will be able to look for website owners if they put your domain name under search with the likes of Whois Lookup.

So whenever you register a new domain, make sure that enable domain Privacy protection.

With just $0.99 per month, you can do it with hosting like Bluehost.

4. Set up your WordPress blog

Once you have purchased your domain name, it will be time to set up your WordPress blog properly.

Look, you don’t need any fancy WordPress theme or paid plugins to build a successful blog.

I completely understand how hard it can be to invest a lot of money when you are new to blogging.

That’s why I always tell my readers to only invest in good hosting and choose a smart domain name.

That is all you need to create a blog in the BEGINNING.

Once your blog is earning enough, you can invest half of the income. But until then, it’s not crucial to invest in a premium theme or any premium tools.

Now, if you have enough resources to speed up the process of making your blog profitable, surely you can invest in Premium themes and plugins.

Since most amateur bloggers don’t have enough resources, it’s better to be lean towards spending.

5. Choose the best strategy for niche sites and anonymous blog

Now that you have already set up your blog, it’s time for the most important thing.

And that is to choose the right strategy for your blogging journey.

Look, I will be very transparent with you. Blogging demands focused attention and time.

But, it doesn’t mean that it is difficult to become a successful blogger.

Since focused attention and time are the most valuable assets in blogging, you MUST use them wisely.

What I mean by focused attention?

Well, if you are serious about blogging, you need just 6 months of focused attention to create enough momentum.

Focused attention means that in those 6 months, all thoughts and actions should be geared towards creating content for your blog.

During this time frame, all other things become secondary.

Every day, your blog becomes your priority. All your free time should be dedicated to your blog.

I know it sounds a bit awkward, but those 6 months will be enough for you to know if blogging is meant for you.

If you can do it for 6 months, then surely blogging is a venture you should pursue.

Why I am saying 6 months?

It’s because almost every new blogger gives up before 6 months.

That being said, the best strategy for a niche site is to target keywords with low search volumes and competition and to create as much content as you can.

If you want to know how to get it done, the below article will show you the most effective blogging strategy that will work for a new niche site.

1. How many articles should you publish?

Ideally, a blog that has more than 400 blog posts tends to perform at its peak potential.

A blog that has already reached 400 blog posts, will rank for a lot of keywords and will bring a lot of traffic.

It usually works like this:

No, it is not necessary.

But you will have to reach your first 100 articles as soon as possible. This is where you will start to see some momentum.

By momentum I mean you can generate around 50,000 page views per month.

And if you can reach that target, you will be eligible to apply for ad networks like Mediavine.
