The first question I have for you today is: Are you genuinely happy?

Now you are wondering why I am asking this.

Well, this is because happiness is something that everyone wants but only a handful of people are genuinely happy.

Now you must be thinking about what happiness has to do with blogging.

The thing is: I was in deep depression last year. I came to a point in my life where I was really struggling to sort out things.

Actually, I was completely alone and it seemed that no one was able to understand me.

I am sure you felt like this more than a few times.

So why I am telling you all this.

Well, it’s because blogging allowed me to get out of depression, increased my confidence, healed me on many levels, and gave me direction. Now I wake up everyday feeling excited about how my day will unfold.

Here are some benefits of blogging that can change your life forever:

1.Blogging gives you a massive boost in confidence

When I started blogging I really didn’t know what I was doing or where I was going. It was really a tough beginning. I didn’t even know which niche to choose.

The weird thing is that wrote my first article on making money online, then frugal living, then online business. It was not until a few blog posts and a lot of stress that I finally figured out that I love to write about blogging.

The thing is that once I figured what niche is could choose, things started to fall into place.

It was not until I got my first comment that I could feel a bit of confidence.

That initial confidence helped me to create 90 blog posts in just 10 months.

When someone comments on your content and praises your writing it’s a feeling that cannot be described.

This really motivates you to create better content in the hope of attracting the right people.

Once you start to get a little success and you see people spending around 2-3 minutes on your content, you know deep inside that you will be able to make it work. You have that little voice in your head telling you that you could really do anything if you focus your mind and energy on it.

When I started this blog it was really very afraid that it won’t work. I was afraid that people won’t like my content. Afraid that people will criticize me. Afraid that people around me will tell me to get a REAL job.

But those fear were only temporary. In the end, starting this blog was the best decision of my life.

Now, every day when I wake up I know I have something to do. I know that I have a clear and precise direction.

In the end, blogging really makes me happy.

2.Blogging allows you to express yourself

Being able to express your thoughts and the way you think actually helps you to heal and makes your mind sharper.

Have you ever tried writing down your thoughts when you are angry or frustrated?

If so, you know to which extent it calms your mind.

Actually, if you can express yourself properly, you will start to do things with more passion.

Passion is a prerequisite to building a successful online business. When you are really passionate about what you do, it will show in the way you talk, walk and write.

“Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.” — Oprah.

The thing is: It’s up to you to bring passion to your work and not the other way round.

Far too many people believe that you must feel it before you can do something meaningful.

But here is the deal:

Whenever you feel lost or depressed, just write 200 words. It doesn’t matter if it’s related to your topic or not.

Just write. Then you will notice something:

Action → Momentum → Motivation → More action → More Momentum → More Motivation→Passion

This is something many people often overlook.

To be able to reach a stage where your mind is completely focused on a single task, you must actually sit down and start to type.

So, the only best advice I can give you is:

Whenever you feel like giving up on your blog or don’t know how to start your introduction just write 200 words.

That’s it.

I started my blog by posting only 2 blog posts per week. Right now I am publishing 5-6 times per week. If you asked me to publish 5-6 times per week when I started this blog, I would have told you it’s impossible.

Actually, I was barely able to complete 2 blog posts per week.

I never thought I would be able to publish 5-6 blog posts per in after just 9 months of blogging.

Actually many people give up on their blog after 6 months if they don’t get any result.

For me it was different. Not getting the desired result motivated me to create more content.

And the skills I have been acquiring during my first 6 months of blogging are really helping me to publish that much content.

Speaking of skills:

3.Blogging allows you to develop new skills

Since I started blogging, I learned how to become a better writer. Though I am not a terrific writer by any means, I am getting better.

Not to mention that I now know a little bit of:

In short, blogging is allowing me to become a better version of myself.

Will these skills help me in the future?

Without a shadow of a doubt.

Actually, after 10 months of blogging, I can say I have come very far. Something that I was not expecting at all.

That actually made me realize one thing: Life is all about learning.

4.The best learning curve to become an entrepreneur

Whatever skills I have acquired during my blogging journey is helping me to prepare myself to become an entrepreneur.

As you might have often heard: Treat your blog like a business if you want to be successful.

Not to mention I am learning how to offer more value to my audience by providing useful content regularly.

I hope that one day I will become an entrepreneur and hire people to work for me. This is the dream.

I cannot wait to build an online business where I will hire writers to create content for me and blogging is the bridge to attain that goal.

5.Blogging will give you more freedom and flexibility

Though I haven’t yet reached there, I know once my blog gains enough traction, I will be able to spend more time doing things that I love.

Who knows, maybe in a few years I will teach people how to start a blog and travel all around the world.

Or maybe in a few years, I will get married and start a family. And the awesome thing is: I will be able to spend more time with my kids.

That is something that I really look forward to.

Can you imagine the flexibility blogging offers? It’s really breathtaking.

Working only 6-10 hours per WEEK and having more time to do things that you really love will be an amazing experience.

That is something I really want now.

And I hope I will be able to reach that tipping point.

Till then, I will try to create as much content as I can to get enough keywords ranking on Google.
