Tiktok is a social media app that allows users to create short, shareable videos. People all over the world create these videos, and some of them are pretty funny.

You can create videos and share them with your friends, family, or the entire world.

But what happens when you want to hide your identity? This is a question you might ask yourself if you are concerned about getting caught on camera.

In this article, I will be going to share with you some strategies on how to go viral on TikTok without showing your face.

1. Grab people’s attention within 5 seconds

You have to immediately catch people’s interest on Tiktok before they swipe past your video to view other stuff.

Most viewers won’t watch if there is no action until the very end. Within the initial few seconds of the video, establish the tone and subject matter to help viewers comprehend what they are viewing.

That’s why you should try to add a wow factor within the first 5 seconds.

So how can you do that?

Well, you can use transitions that will help make your videos stand out.

There are 4 transitions are free for you to try. These are:

  • Blur to Color Impacts
  • Dissolve Impacts
  • Push Impacts
  • Roll Impacts

2. Keep your videos as short as possible

Keep your videos brief and to the point unless you’re delivering a long story that genuinely calls for a full minute of video.

Tiktok uses the ratio of the average view time to the video’s duration to judge a video’s quality. People are more inclined to watch 8 seconds of a 10-second video than 48 seconds of one that lasts a minute.

3. Share tips, advice, favorite things

People enjoy learning new things on TikTok, so if you are an expert in a certain field, make educational videos to teach others more about it.

Quick videos with bullet points that guide the user through the mini-lesson are ideal for these. Sharing favorite goods is also a surprisingly simple method to build traction on TikTok, where people love to purchase (and monetize).

4. Post at the Right Time

post at the right time

You should create a timetable even if you don’t have to upload videos every day. An excellent place to start is by posting once every other day or once each week.

When you are adding more videos consistently, you will be favored in TikTok’s algorithm which in turn will increase your followers.

According to Oberlo, here are the best times to post new videos on TikTok (Eastern Time).

5. Tell a story

Dances can become viral, but storytelling has a higher chance of doing so. Let’s face it, your dance videos aren’t going to become popular on TikTok unless you’re a really brilliant or hilariously horrible dancer.

For those of us, common folk who weren’t gifted by the gods of rhythm, telling a captivating and fascinating story has a higher chance of becoming viral.

Anything can qualify as an intriguing life event, including projects you worked on and incidental occurrences during the day. Simply narrate a tale, and make sure it moves along swiftly.

Here you can try any kind of story and see which one is getting more traction. It’s all about trial and error till you know which one is working for your channel.

6. Record your own audio

We are all aware that our phones and appss may listen to what we say and make judgments (such as showing us advertisements) based on that audio.

TikTok will make use of all the resources you provide in order toand the subject matter of your video and select the correct audience in ordertoute your material.

Using a voiceover on your video gives them much more keywords and information on what your video is about, enabling them to expose your material to the appropriate demographic. You may do this in your description or hashtags, which I’ll discuss later.

7. Include a strong call to action

This, in my opinion, is definitely one of the most crucial elements that can help a video go viral and gain more followers.

If you only receive 3000 followers as a result of your video, what good is 5 million views? First of all, TikTok will inevitably promote a video to more users if they see a lot of comments, likes, or followers on it.

In light of this, it’s excellent to include a call to action in your caption and/or at the conclusion of your video, such as “like for part 2”, “follow for more”, or “don’t let this flop”.

To make this work, you obviously need a captivating video, but adding a powerful CTA to a video can be the difference between 3 million views and two thousand new followers and 10 million views and forty thousand new followers.

Your CTA should last for at least a few seconds to give visitors enough time to follow you before they go on to the next video, in my opinion.

8. Use trending music or sounds

integrate popular music

Whether or not you want to perform a voiceover, it’s important to consistently include current music trends in your videos.

TikTok is a social site where people feed off the trends, so while you can select your own music, it’s far more likely that you’ll succeed if you utilize recently popular tunes. Always include narration and a piece of music in the background layering.

9. Do something slightly controversial

Once more, comments are what make something go viral, so if you can have anything contentious, that will help.

On the internet, people genuinely like sharing their opinions.

You don’t need to be acting improperly, but if there is a subject about which there is considerable disagreement, such as how much cream cheese should go on a bagel or whether ketchup should be put on eggs (literally minor foolish things! ), people will speak up and provide their opinions. In the end, EMBRACE YOUR HATERS & LOVE THEM because they will help you become a TikTok viral sensation.

10. Reply to all your comments

A video has a higher chance of going viral the more comments it receives. If you can interact with commentators and encourage them to leave more comments on your video, this works exceptionally well.

You should avoid responding to comments on a TikTok video that is getting viral too quickly since doing so can result in your account being banned.

11. Post at least 2 times per week

Going viral on TikTok is ultimately a numbers game. The likelihood of a video going viral increases with the frequency of posting.

Don’t compromise on quality, but if you force yourself to release videos onregularlynot only will your films likely improve, but you’ll also be more likely to have one of them become viral on TikTok.

12. Don’t use #FYP, #foryou, or other generic hashtags

I’m not sure whether hashtags are usually helpful or not, but #FYP, #foryou, and other really generic hashtags won’t do anything. Use specialized tags if you have them, otherwise don’t.

Niche hashtags might occasionally help TikTok deliver your video to the appropriate audience if you have a really niche video.

However, it’s better to avoid pigeonholing content with hashtags if it would be appealing to a wide range of users throughout the platform and instead allow the algorithm to act as its judgment as to who should see it.

Final thoughts: How To Go Viral On TikTok Without Showing Your Face

As you can see, you do not need to show your face to go viral on TikTok.

You can use creative filming techniques, engage with other users, and use trending songs and audio to make your videos stand out. With a little effort, you can gain a large following on TikTok without ever revealing your face.
